Earlier this summer I had the amazing opportunity to work with Megan of Megan Pomeroy Photography. She was kind enough to let me tag along with her for what turned out to be a gorgeous outdoor wedding! I have come to admire her not only as a photographer, but as a person. Seriously, she is one of the most kind hearted individuals I’ve ever worked with.
This wedding was truly beautiful for so many reasons. First of all, the couple was adorable and their love for one another was so genuine. When you think about a perfectly photogenic couple, this was them! Mother Nature also turned out to be on our side because the weather was fabulous despite the 60% chance of rain predicted throughout the entire day. Finally, the details of this wedding were nothing short of incredible. From the s’mores and popcorn ball favors to the custom cakes and hundreds of flowers, I felt like I was in a wedding from a magazine spread. My favorite detail, however, was the assortment of chairs…..yes chairs! The chairs for the ceremony were individually purchased and then painted or re-upholstered to match the color theme of the day. I can’t imagine the time it took to find all of the pieces to make this wedding such a beautiful success.
