It seems only fitting that my very first blog post is a newborn session of sweet baby Elaine. I was so excited when I got the call that she had arrived 2 weeks early (taking after her mama!). All newborn sessions are special, but this little girl was an absolute angel. She slept through the entire session and even gave us a few smiles which of course melted mom and dad’s hearts. I know Elaine’s mom, Amanda, from my time spent teaching at Schoo Middle School (go Skyhawks!). It is always an honor to capture precious moments such as this for my friends and family. Even more so now that I live down in Kansas and don’t get to see many of them anymore. For this session we incorporated several gifts from Elaine’s family such as blankets and hats. We even attempted to get some pictures with the family dog, Paco, who is adjusting to being a big brother!
